Errington v Errington and Woods

Key Principle
A promise to convey property on completion of a course of conduct (paying mortgage instalments) is a unilateral contract that cannot be revoked once the promisee has begun and is continuing performance; the promisees hold a contractual licence to occupy that equity will protect.
