Key Principle
The restraint of trade doctrine applies to solus (exclusive-supply) ties on land, and such a tie is enforceable only so far as it goes no further than is reasonably necessary to protect the supplier's legitimate interests, judged for reasonableness as between the parties and in the public interest.
