Kuruma Son of Kaniu v The Queen [1955] AC 197 (PC)
Key Principle
The test of admissibility of evidence in both civil and criminal cases is relevance; if the evidence is relevant it is admissible and the court is not concerned with how it was obtained, subject only to the trial judge's discretion to exclude evidence whose admission would operate unfairly against the accused.
