Wong Kok Chin v Mah Ten Kui Joseph
Wong Kok Chin v Mah Ten Kui Joseph [1992] 2 SLR 161; [1992] 1 SLR(R) 859
Key Principle
Once an adverse possessor's inchoate possessory interest has crystallised into title by the running of the limitation period (extinguishing the registered proprietor's title), a later reassertion of ownership under the Land Titles Act cannot revive the extinguished title; reassertion only operates prospectively to stop time before limitation is complete.
