Service of a photocopy (or document-exchange copy) of a claim form is not good service for the purposes of CPR r.6.3; it is the document actually issued and sealed by the court that constitutes the 'claim form' which must be served, save where electronic service under CPR r.6.3(1)(d) and Practice Direction 6A is properly invoked.
