Key Principle

Where a personal-injury claimant satisfies the Ogden definition of 'disabled', the conventional multiplier/multiplicand method with disability reduction factors should normally be used to assess future loss of earnings even in less severe cases, the reduction factors being adjusted to reflect the claimant's individual circumstances.
