A director who causes a company fraudulently to apply for a Bounce Back Loan on the basis of an estimated turnover he knew or ought to have known the company had no realistic prospect of achieving, and who causes the funds to be applied for his personal benefit, falls below the standards of probity and competence appropriate for a fit director and is unfit under s.6 CDDA 1986.
