A Fatal Accidents Act dependency claim cannot be used to recover earnings lost by the surviving dependant; the recoverable loss under section 3 is the loss of the deceased's income or services to the dependants, not a reduction in the survivor's own earning capacity caused by having to relocate or change jobs after the death.
