Where a claim for recognition and enforcement of a foreign money judgment is pending and that judgment remains in flux on appeal abroad, the English court manages its own process proportionately and should ordinarily stay (rather than dismiss) the enforcement claim with liberty to apply, instead of requiring the parties to abandon and recommence proceedings each time the foreign appeal moves.
