Key Principle

Where a beneficiary (or all beneficiaries together) is of full age, of sound mind and absolutely and indefeasibly entitled to the entire beneficial interest, he or they may direct the trustees to transfer the trust property and thereby terminate the trust, overriding any contrary direction of the settlor as to postponement or accumulation.
