Key Principle
Under a project/contractors' all-risks insurance policy, an insured is entitled to an indemnity for the access costs of intentional damage necessarily caused to the works in order to make good a defect that itself poses a threat of damage to the works as a whole, subject to the policy deductible applying per item of damage.
