The good-faith-purchaser rule applies to purchases of land and timber as in other commercial transactions, so one who pays full value for apparently valid title without notice of suspicious circumstances acquires the rights of a bona fide purchaser; the case is also the canonical authority that the syllabus is not part of the Court's opinion.
